Getting Started with ABA

Here’s what getting started with Kids Lead ABA looks like:

1. Schedule a Free Consultation

Start by scheduling a brief consultation call with us. You can complete our online form or call us directly at (947) 622-1976.

During the call, we’ll learn a little about your child, answer any questions you have, and talk through what you’re looking for in ABA services.

2. Confirm Diagnosis & Insurance

Before beginning ABA services, we’ll confirm that your child has a qualifying Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis and review any documentation your insurance plan may require.

We’ll also help verify your insurance benefits and eligibility so you have a clearer understanding of your coverage before moving forward.

3. Complete an Initial Assessment

Next, we’ll schedule an in-person initial assessment with your child and family.

This gives us the opportunity to get to know your child, learn about their strengths, interests, communication, daily routines, and areas where additional support may be helpful.

We’ll also talk with you about your family’s priorities and the goals that are most meaningful to you.

4. Create Your Child’s Individualized Plan

Using what we learn during the assessment, your BCBA will develop an individualized treatment plan designed around your child’s unique needs and your family’s goals.

Once the plan is approved by insurance, we’ll work with you to create a therapy schedule and begin services.
